# Get Started with TruckYou: Download, Register, and Ship

> Choose the TruckYou app for your role — Shipper, Trucker, or Driver — download it, verify your mobile number, and complete your first action.

TruckYou has three separate apps — one for each role on the platform. Choose the app that matches your role, download it, and follow the steps below to get up and running. Registration takes under two minutes and requires only your mobile number.

    Use the **Shipper app** to create shipments, track deliveries in real time, and pay securely via Razorpay.

        Get the Shipper app from your app store:

      <Step title="Register and verify with OTP">
        Open the app and enter your mobile number. TruckYou sends you a one-time password (OTP) by WhatsAPP. Enter the OTP to verify your number and create your account — no password is needed.

      <Step title="Set up your profile">
        Enter your business name, GST number (if applicable), and a primary contact name. This information appears on invoices and shipment records, so make sure it is accurate.

      <Step title="Create your first shipment">
        Tap **Create Shipment** on the home screen. Enter the pickup address, delivery address, cargo description, weight, and your preferred pickup time. Review the cost breakdown, then confirm. A trucker in your area will accept and assign a driver.

      Before you create your first shipment, save your most-used pickup address in your profile. This speeds up every future booking — you will not have to type the same address repeatedly.

    Use the **Trucker app** to accept shipment requests from shippers, assign trucks and drivers, and receive payments for completed deliveries.

        Open the app and enter your mobile number. TruckYou sends you a one-time password (OTP) by SMS. Enter the OTP to verify your number and create your account — no password is needed.

      <Step title="Set up your fleet">
        Add your trucks to the app. For each truck, enter the vehicle registration number, type (e.g., mini truck, 10-tonne, trailer), and capacity. Then add your drivers by their mobile numbers — they will receive an invitation to join your fleet via the Driver app.

      <Step title="Accept your first shipment">
        Open the **Requests** tab to see incoming shipment requests from shippers. Tap a request to review the route, cargo details, and payout. If it suits your fleet, tap **Accept**, then assign an available truck and driver. The driver receives their assignment immediately in the Driver app.

      Add all your trucks and drivers to your profile before you start accepting shipments. Having your fleet ready means you can accept and assign in one smooth step — faster responses help you win more jobs.

    Use the **Driver app** to receive assignments from your trucker, update delivery stages, and share your live location throughout each journey.

        Ask your trucker for the Driver app. It is available on both platforms:

        * Search **TruckYou Driver** on the App Store (iOS)

        Open the app and enter your mobile number. TruckYou sends you a one-time password (OTP) by SMS. Enter the OTP to verify your number and create your account — no password is needed.

      <Step title="Set up your profile">
        Enter your full name, driving licence number, and licence expiry date. Upload a clear photo of your licence for verification. Your trucker can see your profile before assigning you to any shipment.

      <Step title="Accept your first assignment">
        Once your trucker adds you to their fleet and assigns you a shipment, you receive a notification. Open the notification to review the pickup address, delivery address, and cargo details. Tap **Accept** to confirm. Navigate to the pickup point, confirm arrival in the app, and capture Proof of Pickup to begin the delivery.

      Enable location permissions for the Driver app as soon as you install it. Live location sharing starts automatically when you accept an assignment, so the shipper can track their goods — and your trucker can monitor progress — without any manual steps from you.
