# How to Add and Manage Your Fleet in TruckYou Trucker App

> Learn how to add trucks and register drivers in TruckYou, assign fleet resources to active shipments, and track each delivery stage to completion.

The TruckYou Trucker App gives you a central place to manage every part of your fleet operation. Add trucks, onboard drivers, assign them to shipments, and follow each delivery from pickup to completion.

## Add trucks to your fleet

To register a truck in the Trucker App:

1. Go to **Fleet** in the bottom navigation bar.
2. Tap **Add Truck**.
3. Enter the truck's registration number, vehicle type, capacity, and any other required details.
4. Save the truck. It will appear in your fleet list and become available to assign to shipments.

Keep your truck details accurate. Shippers see vehicle information when you accept their requests, and mismatches can cause delays at pickup.

## Add and manage drivers

To add a driver to your fleet:

1. Go to **Fleet**, then tap **Drivers**.
2. Tap **Add Driver** and enter the driver's name, mobile number, and licence details.
3. The driver receives an OTP-based invite to register on the TruckYou Driver App.
4. Once the driver completes registration, they appear as **Active** in your driver list.

You can view each driver's assigned shipments, availability status, and past delivery history from the **Drivers** section.

## Assign trucks and drivers to shipments

When you accept a shipment, you are prompted to assign a truck and a driver before the shipment is confirmed. To change an assignment before pickup:

1. Go to **Active Shipments** and tap the shipment.
2. Tap **Edit Assignment**.
3. Select a different truck or driver from your available fleet.
4. Save the changes. The newly assigned driver receives an updated notification.

Assignments cannot be changed after the driver submits the Proof of Pickup (POP).

## Track delivery stages

Each active shipment moves through three stages. You can follow progress from the **Active Shipments** dashboard:

| Stage | Description |
| -------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Pickup** | Driver is at the origin location. POP is submitted once goods are loaded. |
| **In Transit** | Goods are on the way to the destination. Live location tracking is active. |
| **Delivered** | Driver has reached the destination. POD is submitted to confirm delivery. |

Tap any active shipment to see the current stage, driver location, and estimated arrival time.

## Receive payment

Payment is processed automatically after delivery is confirmed:

1. The driver submits the Proof of Delivery (POD) at the destination.
2. TruckYou verifies the POD and marks the shipment as complete.
3. Payment is credited to your registered bank account within the payout cycle.

You can view payment status and history under **Earnings** in the app.
