Every shipment in TruckYou follows a defined sequence of stages. You must complete each stage in order before moving to the next. This ensures an accurate record of the delivery and gives shippers full visibility into the progress of their goods.
Do not mark a stage as complete until you have physically performed that action. Marking a stage early creates an inaccurate delivery record and may affect your standing on the platform.

Stages

Receive assignment

Your trucker or fleet owner assigns you to a shipment. You will receive a notification in the app with the shipment details, including the pickup location, destination, and scheduled times.

Accept the assignment

Open the shipment in the app and tap Accept. Once you accept, the shipment becomes active on your end and the shipper is notified that a driver has been confirmed.

Navigate to the pickup location

Use the pickup address shown in the app to travel to the collection point. You can tap the address to open it in your preferred maps app.

Collect goods and submit Proof of Pickup (POP)

When you arrive and collect the goods, submit your Proof of Pickup (POP) in the app. POP is a verified record confirming that you have received the shipment at the pickup location.To submit POP:
  1. Tap Submit POP on the active shipment screen.
  2. Upload the required photos of the goods and any accompanying documents.
  3. Capture a signature from the sender if required.
  4. Confirm submission.
The app records a timestamp automatically when you submit.

Transport goods to the destination

Travel to the delivery address shown in the app. Keep the app open or running in the background so your location is tracked throughout the journey.

Arrive at the delivery location

When you reach the destination, confirm your arrival in the app before unloading. This logs your arrival time against the shipment.

Deliver goods and submit Proof of Delivery (POD)

Once the goods have been handed over to the recipient, submit your Proof of Delivery (POD). POD is a verified record confirming that the shipment has been delivered at the correct location.To submit POD:
  1. Tap Submit POD on the active shipment screen.
  2. Upload the required photos confirming delivery.
  3. Capture a signature from the recipient if required.
  4. Confirm submission.
The app records a timestamp automatically when you submit.

Assignment complete

After POD is submitted, the shipment is marked as delivered. The shipper receives a notification confirming completion, and the delivery record is finalised.
POP and POD typically include photos of the goods, a recipient or sender signature, and an automatic timestamp. Make sure photos are clear and complete — blurry or incomplete submissions may cause delays in delivery confirmation.
