TruckYou calculates your shipment price upfront before you confirm a booking. All payments are processed securely through Razorpay. There are no hidden fees — what you see at the pricing review step is what you pay.

How pricing is calculated

The fare for each shipment is based on three factors:
  • Weight — the total weight of your shipment in kilograms
  • Distance — the route distance between the pickup and delivery addresses
  • Service type — the category of service you select (for example, express or standard)
You can review the full price breakdown on the pricing screen before confirming your shipment. The price shown includes all applicable charges.

Paying for your shipment

TruckYou uses Razorpay to process all payments. After you confirm your shipment details and review the price, you are directed to the Razorpay payment screen where you can pay using:
  • UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, and others)
  • Credit or debit card
  • Net banking
Once your payment is successful, your shipment is confirmed and a driver is assigned.

Payment security

TruckYou does not store your card or banking details. All payment information is handled entirely by Razorpay, which is compliant with PCI DSS security standards. Your financial data never touches TruckYou’s servers.

Downloading invoices

After your shipment is delivered, you can download a PDF invoice from the app:
  1. Open the My Shipments screen.
  2. Tap the completed shipment.
  3. Tap Download Invoice.
The invoice includes the shipment details, fare breakdown, and payment confirmation. Keep it for your business records or expense claims.

If a payment fails

If your payment does not go through:
  • Your shipment request is not confirmed and no driver is assigned.
  • You can retry the payment by returning to the booking and attempting payment again.
  • Check that your payment method has sufficient balance or credit limit.
  • If the amount was deducted from your account but the booking was not confirmed, the amount will be refunded by Razorpay to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
Shipment requests may be cancelled if payment is not completed. If you experience a payment failure, do not re-book the shipment until you have confirmed whether your previous booking was cancelled.

Refunds and cancellations

If you need to cancel a shipment, contact TruckYou support through the app as soon as possible. Refund eligibility depends on how far the shipment has progressed:
  • Cancellations made before a driver is assigned may be eligible for a full refund.
  • Cancellations made after pickup has begun may not be eligible for a refund.
Refunds, where applicable, are processed through Razorpay and returned to your original payment method.
